Eric D. Wortham II is Adele's current touring pianist and keyboard player. Prior to embarking on the Adele Live 2016 tour with her, he appeared alongside her on various television performances, including her Adele at the BBC and Adele Live in New York City television specials. He serves as the replacement for Adele's previous pianist, Miles Robertson, who worked with her from 2008 until 2011.
Wortham also appears in the music video for "When We Were Young," playing piano.[1]
In addition to touring with Adele, Wortham worked with Jill Scott, both in studio and on tour.[2] He also had a three-month residency at the House of Blues in Shanghai, China, entitled Jazz in Shanghai. He has also recorded solo material as a jazz and gospel artist; his debut album, When I Became Myself, was released in 2003.[3]
