"First Love" is the seventh track from Adele's debut album, 19. It is preceded by "Melt My Heart to Stone" and followed by "Right as Rain." The song was written solely by Adele, in the key of C Major.[1] "First Love" was presumably written about the anonymous first boyfriend that inspired the majority of the record.
Adele played the celesta on the album version of "First Love."[2]
