Miles Robertson is a musician and pianist. He played keys for Adele from 2008 to 2011 and worked with her during her An Evening with Adele and Adele Live tours.
Robertson was born into a family of musicians. His mother and maternal grandparents were Barbadian artists while his father is Ral Robertson, a Caribbean jazz pianist. He was trained by his mother in classical piano and violin when he was four and began pursuing a career in music at the age of 14. He took up drumming while attending the Lodge School.[1]
In addition to his work with Adele, Robertson has also worked with OneRepublic, Alicia Keys, Ashley Tisdale, Sean Kingston, and most recently, Zayn Malik, among others.
Upon his departure from Adele's band, he was replaced by Eric Wortham. He has continued to support Adele's music, and has even posted about her album 25 via Twitter and Facebook.[2]
