Samuel Dixon is an Australian record producer, songwriter and musician, based in London. He is a multi-instrumentalist, best known for his work as a bass guitarist. He played bass for Adele on her Adele Live tour and co-wrote "Love in the Dark" with her for her album 25. He also served as a musical director for her Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD, as well as her performances at the 2012 Grammy Awards and 2013 Academy Awards.[1][2]
Prior to becoming Adele's bassist, he was known for his frequent work with fellow Australian Sia. He has played bass in Sia's live and studio band. He and Sia also worked together on four songs with Christina Aguilera for her 2010 album Bionic.
His other production and songwriting credits include Paloma Faith, KT Tunstall, and Jack Savoretti.
