“Saviour” is a song written by Adele and Paul Epworth for Adele’s sophomore album, 21.[1] It was cut from the final version of the album and remains unreleased.

Rumored to be a last-minute cut from the album, “Saviour” has been speculated to be a thematic shift away from the majority of the album, which centers on Adele’s heartbreak in the aftermath of her separation from her ex-boyfriend. Epworth alluded to the title potentially inspiring some of the lyrics for “Turning Tables,” but even he remained unsure of this.

When asked about the song via Twitter, Epworth confirmed that Adele did consider performing the song on her Adele Live tour, and that he would not be surprised to see it released on a subsequent album.[2][3]
