Song by Adele
Length 5:56
Writer(s) Adele Adkins, Paul Epworth
Producer(s) Paul Epworth

“Saviour” is a song written by Adele and Paul Epworth for Adele’s sophomore album, 21.[1] It was cut from the final version of the album and remains unreleased; however, the song leaked in its entirety on July 4, 2024.[2]

Rumored to be a last-minute cut from the album, “Saviour” was written in the aftermath of Adele’s separation from her ex-boyfriend who inspired the majority of the songs on 21. Lyrically, the song’s verses are nearly identical to “You’ll Never See Me Again,” another unreleased song from 21. Epworth alluded to the title potentially inspiring a line in the bridge of “Turning Tables” as well, but even he remained unsure of this.

When asked about the song via Twitter, Epworth confirmed that Adele did consider performing the song on her Adele Live tour, and that he would not be surprised to see it released on a subsequent album.[3][4]
