Adele Wiki

Hi, guys!

So, yesterday was clearly a very exciting day for Adele fans, as it was finally confirmed that her new album is dropping on November 20.

And today should be an equally exciting day for her fans, as Sia’s new single, Alive,” which she co-wrote with Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr., has finally been released. The song was cut from Adele’s new album at the last minute and was almost immediately chosen as the lead single for Sia’s seventh studio album, This Is Acting, which will feature songs Sia wrote for other artists. And, as can be expected, the song is epic. Check it out below:

As many of Adele’s fans have noted, “Alive” was also released before September 30, making it eligible for a Grammy. This, therefore, also makes Adele eligible to perform at the 2016 awards ceremony.

In addition to this, in a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest today (which can be watched here), Sia and Adele co-wrote three songs together in two days for Adele’s new album. Adele recorded vocals for two of them (“Alive,” and a previously unknown song titled “Bird Set Free”). She rejected them at the last minute, crediting the rejection of the latter to the fact that it sounded more like a Sia song. Both “Alive” and “Bird Set Free” will appear on Sia’s forthcoming This Is Acting album.

This isn’t the only exciting news we've received today, though. Hits Daily Double (the same lovely people that confirmed Adele was releasing on November 20 yesterday) confirmed today that the album will be titled 25, after over a year of speculation following a cryptic tweet from Adele on her birthday. So, in less than 24 hours, we've received both the title and the release date of Adele's new album. Who else is excited?

And, on top of that, we also have some more signs from Adele’s team that she’s coming back. Her 2012 single, “Skyfall,” which had yet to be uploaded to Spotify, was made available on the streaming service today. You can stream it here.

Well, that’s a wrap for right now. I’d say it’s been a pretty good week for Daydreamers. How happy are you with all of this news? Sound off in the comments below!
